Meet Our Founder – Dr. B. Raja Ratnam

Dr. B. Raja Ratnam did his Masters in Zoology and Bachelor of Education in Science. He is doctorate in the field of Biotechnology from Nagarjuna University.
He made significant contribution to the farming community through his research in Penaeus vennamei species.
He started his career as Senior Research Fellow in National Agricultural Technology Project at College of Fisheries Science, Muthukur, Nellore in the year 2000.
He has vast experience in the field of teaching as Post Graduate Teacher in Jawahar Navodaya, Krishna and DKW College, Nellore. Later he entered into corporate sector and teached zoology for students of plus one and plus two appearing for NEET in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
He started Dr.BRR's Genesis Medical and Engineering Academy in Vijayawada in 2018 with a vision to send students into prestigious medical and engineering colleges in India by inculcating moral and ethical values in them.
He is also the Correspondent of two private junior colleges recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh. Presently Dr. BRR's Genesis is one of the leading institutes in Vijayawada, with remarkable achievement of 75% students being admitted into various government professional colleges including IITs, NITs, AIIMS etc., all over India under the able administration and guidance of Dr. B.Rajaratnam.
He and his wife Dr. Anitha are good career counselors for the past 20 years working among students with passion to nurture them as good citizens for future India.

Dr. Anitha did her Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D in Veterinary Science. She started her career as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in AP State Govt. in 2003 and later joined in Veterinary University as Asst. Professor at College of Veterinary Science, Proddatur, Kadapa in 2009 as she has passion to teach and guide students. She is instrumental in all around development of the institute. She is promoted to Associate Professor and worked at NTR College of Veterinary Science, Gannavaram. She teached UG, PG and Ph.D students and involved in research and extension activities. Presently she is working as Sr. Scientist at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lam Farm, Guntur. She developed a new BCS technology in Murrah Buffaloes which is widely used by researchers and farmers in dairy animals. She authored 4 text books and acted as external expert to various Universities in India.
She published 58 research papers and acted as reviewer for manuscripts of international & national high rated journals. She guided 18 Masters students and presented 22 papers in technical conferences. She handled research projects and organized training programmes to the field veterinarians on livestock rearing. She received 6 prestigious awards both from Govt. & Private organizations in recognition of her outstanding services & excellence in veterinary field.
